Advocates is comprised of Harvard Law School students who are interested in human rights work and advocacy. The organization gives these students an opportunity to participate in human rights-related projects and to become a part of Harvard Law School\u2019s human rights community.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What Does Advocates Do?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have four main areas of focus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. We work with human rights practitioners and NGOs from around the world on student-led projects, through which our members conduct legal research and engage in human rights advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. We promote awareness of human rights issues on campus by collaborating with other student organizations on events and engaging in student activism at Harvard Law School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. We organize training sessions and career advising opportunities to support students in becoming effective human rights advocates in their fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4.
