{"id":1803,"date":"2017-04-24T11:05:06","date_gmt":"2017-04-24T15:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/plap\/?p=1803"},"modified":"2017-04-24T11:06:10","modified_gmt":"2017-04-24T15:06:10","slug":"spring-break-trip-big-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/plap\/2017\/04\/24\/spring-break-trip-big-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Break Trip Big Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over spring break, 5 members of PLAP and another HLS student traveled to New Orleans, LA to work with the Promise of Justice Initiative (PJI) on a lawsuit seeking injunctive relief to deliver constitutionally adequate medical care to incarcerated people at Angola. Our students helped the attorneys prepare for trial by reviewing and creating a database for incarcerated people&#8217;s requests for disability accommodations and creating aids for expert testimony. The students were able to spend a week enjoying the great city of New Orleans while also contributing valuable work to an important case.
