{"id":71,"date":"2015-05-11T18:30:13","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T18:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/?page_id=71"},"modified":"2020-03-25T12:42:52","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T16:42:52","slug":"for-clients","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"For Clients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As one of Harvard Law School\u2019s legal service programs, the Transactional Law Clinics are an innovative resource providing individuals and organizations access to sophisticated, expert legal counsel for help with projects and problems.<\/p>\n<p>We offer legal assistance in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"What We Do for Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/businesses-and-non-profit-organizations\/\">Business matters<\/a>, including business formations, investments, sales and purchases, contracts, and regulatory compliance<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"What We Do for Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/businesses-and-non-profit-organizations\/\">Nonprofit organization work<\/a>, including formation, application for tax exempt status, and governance<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"What We Do \u2013 Real Estate\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/real-estate\/\">Real estate issues<\/a>, including purchases and sales of residences, condominium formation and governance, commercial leasing, zoning compliance and development of affordable housing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through our <a title=\"The Community Enterprise Project\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/community-enterprise-project\/\">Community Enterprise Project<\/a>, we offer legal assistance aimed at economic development in low opportunity communities.<\/p>\n<p>Through our <a title=\"Recording Artists Project\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/recording-artists-project\/\">Recording Artists Project<\/a>, we offer legal assistance in <a title=\"What We Do \u2013 Entertainment Law\" href=\"http:\/\/clinics.law.harvard.edu\/tlc\/for-clients\/entertainment-law\/\">music, arts and entertainment law<\/a>, including representation of musicians, artists, writers, producers, managers, and publishers.<\/p>\n<p>Through our seminar series, we frequently offer seminars and presentations to the community.
