The Crimmigration Clinic, which is part of the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program, seeks to advance immigrants’ rights at the intersection of criminal law and immigration. The Clinic pursues strategic litigation and advocacy projects to combat the criminalization of immigration, the use of local law enforcement resources to enforce federal immigration laws, and the rising use of immigration detention. Students in the Clinic work closely with clinical supervisors to represent clients in legal proceedings before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as federal district courts and courts of appeals. Clinical students also work closely with local and national immigrants’ rights organizations on impact litigation and cutting-edge policy advocacy.
Harvard Law School is committed to the full inclusion of students with disabilities in the life of the University. Students requesting accessibility resources or accommodations in any of HLS’s Clinical and Pro Bono Programs may work with Accessibility Services in the Dean of Students Office. If you are a student with a documented disability and you are requesting accommodations, please contact HLS Accessibility Services to discuss and register for accommodations.
