This month HIP, together with the Office and Clinical and Pro Bono Programs, organized a spring break trip to Alabama for 6 students to support organizations to fight HB56, Alabama’s harsh anti-immigration legislation. Students provided legal support including outreach, interviewing and intake, legal research and writing, and other work helpful to legal services and advocacy groups working to organize and support the efforts to combat HB56.
