A new initiative area for the 2023-24 academic year, the Rural Broadband team focuses on policies to ensure equitable access to broadband in rural areas, particularly the MS Delta. Activities this year will include supporting public participation in broadband expansion in the state and comparative analysis concerning the way states with large rural populations are attempting to address equity and accessibility as they deploy new broadband funding.
