Refer a Dispute

Mediation is a free service at HMP. Here’s how to access it:

  1. Review and complete the form below, which lists the information HMP will need about the dispute.
  2. After receiving the form, HMP will be in touch to discuss next steps. All parties must agree to participate before we can schedule a mediation session.
  3. If you have any additional questions, contact HMP’s Outreach and Case Coordinator, Ana Riella, via e-mail at [email protected] .

Please note that HMP:

  • DOES NOT provide legal advice or represent parties
  • DOES NOT mediate divorce (though HMP may be able to assist with related matters, such
    as visitation schedules).

Full list of participants for mediation and, for each participant:

  • Name
  • Email
  • phone number
  • mailing address -or- town
  • have they agreed to participate in mediation?
  • role

Please include a complete list, including any attorneys or others who plan to participate, and under “role” briefly describe each participant’s role (e.g., tenant, landlord, defendant, attorney for plaintiff, etc.).
